During recruitment processes, companies entice candidates with a positive approach to employees. They declare safe workplaces, free from misconduct and discrimination. The vision of such a work environment can be the deciding factor in choosing that particular company, especially when financial conditions and the scope of duties are similar.
But what if, after a few weeks, it turns out that it was just marketing? And that the company is simply an “ordinary” firm that does not treat its employees any better than others? Or worse, it condones violations of employee rights? Can you do something about it?
