What data do we process?

You browse our website anonymously. You do not provide any data that directly identifies you. We only collect IP addresses and identifiers from cookies or similar technologies. However, this information does not enable us to identify the individuals browsing our service. We use this information solely for statistical purposes regarding the use of the website and to ensure its efficient operation. Therefore, please take our “Cookies Policy” into account.

If you wish, you may voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter. In such a case, we will process your first name, last name, and email address.

Why do we process your personal data in connection with the newsletter?

We process your personal data exclusively for the purpose of sending you our newsletter. This newsletter may contain educational materials, information on changes in the law, as well as information about educational events organized by us related to labour law and HR.

 

On what basis do we process your personal data in connection with the newsletter?

The basis for processing your personal data is the performance of the contract for the delivery of the newsletter (digital content). This basis is specified in Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR.

We send our newsletter to you based on your consent granted in accordance with Art. 398 of the Electronic Communications Law.

 

For what purpose and on what basis do we process your IP address and cookie identifier?

Exclusively for statistical and analytical purposes – to analyze user actions and preferences in order to improve the functionality and quality of the services provided. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, which is our legitimate interest in analyzing user activities and optimizing services.

 

How long do we process your personal data?

Personal data provided to us in order to receive the newsletter will be processed until you unsubscribe from the newsletter.

The IP address and cookie identifier will be processed for the duration of our legitimate interest (statistics and traffic analysis on the website) or until an effective objection is lodged. The cookie identifier will be processed until the respective cookie expires.

 

To whom do we disclose your personal data?

  • to entities providing hosting services for our website, with their registered office within the European Economic Area;
  • to public authorities and entities performing public tasks or acting on behalf of public authorities, to the extent and for the purposes resulting from the provisions of law.

 

What are your rights in connection with the processing of personal data?

In addition (with respect to the IP address and cookie identifier), you have the right to object to the processing.

If you contest the way we process personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), ul. Stanisława Moniuszki 1A, 00-014 Warsaw.

 

What happens to the data you send us via email?

If you send us an email using the address provided in the “Contact” tab, we will process the data you specify: at least your email address, but likely also your first name, last name, and other data provided in the correspondence. All such correspondence will be covered by professional attorney-client privilege. We will process personal data for the purpose of performing our professional activities, both before and after the conclusion of a binding legal advisory agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR).
