Employers prepare for an employee’s return from maternity leave months in advance. They have a budget and a well-thought-out strategy for the termination meeting. But do we know how to behave when a notice of termination or a mutual agreement is placed on the table? Is an application for 7/8 of full-time hours enough to ensure protection?
