Overtime in a managerial position. When are you entitled to remuneration?

There is a MYTH circulating in the labor market: if you are in a managerial position, you have no right to overtime pay. At most, you will get time off if you submit a request and your superior approves the overtime. This is common practice among employers.
But what does the Labour Code say? Does a promotion to a managerial position actually mean saying goodbye to extra pay? Does a board member, director, or manager working longer hours really have no right to time off or additional remuneration? In our conversation, we explain when you can demand overtime pay at higher-level positions and when the employer who denies it is actually right.
